Preliminary Entry Update for the Riga Amber Cup 2026

We're pleased to announce a strong level of interest during the preliminary registration period for the Riga Amber Cup 2026. A total of 33 teams from 10 countries have submitted their entries for the competition, set for February 12 to 15, 2026 in Riga.

This solid participation ensures a competitive and diverse field across all categories.

Entry Highlights by Category

The preliminary entries show a solid distribution of teams, with strong representation in the ISU divisions:

• ISU Junior: 8 teams

• ISU Senior: 6 teams

• Mixed Age: 5 teams

Other categories are also well-represented, including Juvenile (3), ISU Advanced Novice (3), Adults (2), Pre-Juvenile (2), Basic Novice (2), Senior B (1), and Junior B (1).

International Interest

The global nature of the competition is a highlight, with teams registering from all over the world, including a strong presence from:

• Poland (8 teams)

• Switzerland (5 teams)

• Latvia (4 teams)

• USA (4 teams)

• Germany (3 teams)

Teams from Canada, Estonia, Finland, the Netherlands, and South Africa will also be joining us on the ice!

The final deadline for preliminary entry is October 20, 2025. We encourage any interested teams to secure their place and to register promptly to avoid the possibility of being placed on a waiting list.
